Dinner Tickets are $45 per person and includes dinner, Irish dancers from Rince na h'Eireann School of Irish Dancing & the Walsh Kelley School of Traditional Irish Dancing and musical entertainment by ClannDarragh and the awards presentation. The Irish American Awards Dinner is the primary fundraiser for the St. Patrick's Day Parade. It is open to anyone that would like to attend. The Charlotte St. Patrick's Day Parade Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit group. All of the net proceeds of the dinner go to the operation of the parade. The parade runs strictly on private and grant funding and receives no funding from the City of Charlotte. A portion of the ticket may be tax deductible. Please consult your tax advisor. Join us for a night of fun and help support your parade!

Irishman of the Year Award: Tim Lawson - First President of the Sons of Erin Division of the Ancient Order of Hibernians & First President of the North Carolina Ancient Order of Hibernians Irishwoman of the Year - (Actually there were two winners this year. They are sisters and each founded an Irish Dance School in Charlotte) Sandra Connick - Founder of Rince Na h’Eireann School of Irish dance Aine Walsh Kelley - Founder of Walsh Kelley School of Irish Dance Irish in Sports Award - H.A. “Humpy” Wheeler - President Lowes Motor Speedway Irish in Law Enforcement - Sheriff Jim Pendergraph - Sheriff of Mecklenburg County Irish Civic Leader- John Thomas Sullivan - Host of “Speak out Charlotte” and financial consultant holding seats on the New York Stock Exchange and American stock Exchange. Irish in Media - Shawn Flynn - Channel 14 News reporter. Irish firefighter of the Year - Captain Ken Bradey - Captain in the Charlotte Fire Dept and the snare drummer for the Charlotte Fire Dept. Pipe & Drums.
