Anam Cara

Anam Cara is a Celtic Band with attitude.  They mix traditional celtic tunes with a driving beat, high energy, and soaring sounds.  The musicians come from a mixture of traditional Irish, jazz, rock, classical, and big band.

Come hear the Merrows and you’re bound to be surprised by their innovative style.  What’s unique about the acoustic band is their blend of genres…. mixing Irish music and African drums, Americana folk and jazz themes all centered on their passion for Celtic music.
